Preview- Brantford 99ers vs. Mississauga Chargers

BRANTFORD, ON- The Brantford 99ers are back on home ice for a Thursday night tilt against the visiting Mississauga Chargers.

Tonight is Brantford’s 1st game since the OJHL Governors Showcase, where they defeated the Toronto Patriots 1-0 and then were defeated by the Lindsay Muskies by the same score. The 99ers enter tonight with a record of 4-4-0-0, and Evin Kojokaro still holds the team lead in points with 6. Tonight we will see the return of Artem Narbekov, Cam Hankai, and newly acquired Joe Weber will make his 99ers debut. Watch this interview with Joe Weber about joining the squad:

Mississauga has played 2 games since the Showcase, dropping an 8-2 decision last Saturday against Georgetown, and a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the Stouffville Spirit on Tuesday. They currently hold a 1-8-0-1 record, and Jason Daraiche leads the Chargers in points with 7 in 10 games.
